ABOUT ME

Welcome!

Here’s a little more about me and how I can support you on your journey.

My interest in psychology began at a young age, driven by a deep curiosity about human nature. After completing my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in psychology, I began my career as a psychologist working across a wide range of areas, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, drug and alcohol issues, child and adolescent therapy, relationship and family therapy, professional and career concerns, and pain and stress management. I have also worked closely with communities—particularly young people—supporting them through times of stress and transition, and spent over eight years managing the conduct of research within State Government hospital-based settings.

Throughout both my academic and professional journey, I have maintained a strong personal and spiritual interest in human nature, the experience of suffering, and the transformative power that arises through the alchemy of nature, nurture, pain, and healing.

Today, I am a mother, meditative and intuitive guide, and a Registered Psychologist with a psychospiritual focus. I support individuals experiencing challenges across all areas of life, with particular interests in anxiety and stress, adjustment to major life events, trauma, self-esteem and confidence, postpartum mental health, and drug and alcohol issues.

My purpose is to offer you a safe and compassionate space to explore and embrace the full spectrum of your human experience—the suffering and the shadow, as well as the joy and the unknown.

I bring curiosity, presence, wisdom, humour, compassion, and empathy to help you navigate your inner and outer worlds. My aim is to support your journey toward greater self-awareness and healing so that you can live more fully as your authentic self.

Warmly,

Sophia
